The Project and Software Quality Assurance group ensures process effectiveness and quality products to software development by embedding on critical projects and monitoring software process compliance, establishing process measures and reporting and conducting project audits.The Software Quality Assurance group has five primary roles: Deltek Software Development Life Cycle Methodology Compliance. Process Monitor and Control.Process Improvement. Measuring Product Quality Improvement through a Comprehensive Metrics Program. Auditing.The Sr. Process Engineer serves as objective, unbiased members of the project team with a focus on product quality. SQA Process Engineers play active roles on the project team and perform value-adding tasks including driving adherence and compliance of D-SDLC methodology across critical projects and working with the Change Control Board to improve the project software delivery process.The Sr. Process Engineer will be responsible for Project/Process Assessments that include the following:Review of project documentation (tracing the product's development from the initial request through the product release process).If all required documentation is present and sufficiently detailed (to determine compliance with established processes, standards and methodology).Whether controls over change documentation, system testing, patches etc. are adequate.If the product meets the objectives of the original request, based on test results and user feedback.The Sr. Process Engineer works with the project management team to produce project specific metrics.The Sr. Process Engineer works with project management to identify project issues and risks � Ensure project issues and risks are documented, escalated, maintained and managed.The Sr. Process Engineer may also be requested to conduct or assist with Root Cause Analysis.The Sr. Process Engineer will be may also be requested to assist with training coordination activities or educate the project teams on best practices related to the Deltek Software Development Life Cycle methodology.Other responsibilities include:Liaison to all users of the Deltek Software Development Life Cycle as the subject matter expert.Conducting Process Open Forums as needed to communicate policies & procedures.Logging and maintaining process and policy change requests in the change repository.Incorporate audit requirement updates based on new policies & procedures.Education & Experience:Four to ten years experience in a specific software development life cycle role.Strong verbal and written skills � generic examples of process documentation a plus.Bachelors degree.Technical Knowledge & Skills: Analytical and technical thinking across multiple areas of responsibility.Experience with document management repositories.Experience with SDLC tools and methodologies (knowledge of RUP or other SDLC methodology).Experience with COTS environment a plus.Experience in Auditing & Compliance.Good knowledge of process improvement models (CMMI, ISO, Six Sigma).

Maintain prospect and callback files and activity records. Examine architectural drawings and specs and prepare estimate for soil treatment bids. Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean and proper operating condition. Complete all appropriate training courses. Be aware of location and telephone number of local poison control center.
