Consumer’s Eye Magazine is now in its 22nd year and has plans for continued expansion.
OPPORTUNITY
Due to expansion, Consumer’s Eye Magazine is currently seeking qualified individuals to oversee local markets, handle existing accounts and establish new accounts. This opportunity includes a protected territory with possible future options for expansion. Our direct-mail Magazines have an extremely high renewal rate.
Base salaried draw of $30k - 40k based on your previous experience.
You receive 50% commission vs salaried draw on your new sales
($200k in new sales equals $100k in commission)
Territory

JOB DESCRIPTION
The main responsibility for a Territory Manager is sales to businesses looking to reach the consumer directly via their mailbox. Likely prospects include hair care, dining, auto care, home services and general everyday businesses that consumers utilize on a one-time or regular basis. In-person visits to businesses along with appointment setting via phone. Most businesses in shopping centers & strip centers along with home services are our target market.
Consumer’s Eye Magazine provides tremendous inside ad coordination support.
Reps need only only assist 5-10% of clients with ad copy.

Job Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Manager, Pricing. Performs business and management tasks in the area of Pricing without significant supervision. Prepares complex pricing proposals in response to customer requests for proposals. Interfaces with technical personnel responsible for estimates. Works with Capture Manager in development of price strategy. Analyzes estimates of labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs. Actively participates on proposal teams for new business opportunities. Ensures the timely generation of pricing submissions and compliance with solicitation requirements and established review / approval process. Utilizes overall knowledge of company bid-rate structure to complete assignments within extremely tight and strict proposal schedules. Assumes responsibility for the preparation of a fully compliant and competitive cost and pricing volume, establishing and coordinating schedules, cost/price model development, and cost narrative.
Required Education:
Experience Required: At least 8 years experience in cost proposal preparation for Government contracts. 2 or 4 year degree a plus but not a requirement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office a must. Must be comfortable developing large, complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
Required Work Experience:
Experience in all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPFF, FFP) is required.
Possesses and applies expertise in matters of proposal preparation. Writes effective, clear, concise correspondence. Interacts effectively with internal and external clients in the best interests of the corporation. Exercises discretion and independent judgment in support of pricing matters. Elevates issues in a timely manner and coordinates resolution. Attends corporate meetings as required. Compliant with all applicable ISO processes and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Proficient in MS Word and Excel applications.
