JOB SUMMARY:

Duties:
The Client Services Representative - Tech II possesses a thorough knowledge of the laboratory's operation thus enabling him/her to assist other Client Services Representatives with unusual or complex problems and provide training assistance for new employees. The incumbent is responsible for responding via telephone and/or fax to all customer inquiries/requests in a prompt, accurate and courteous manner. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for identifying and expediently resolving discrepancies that occur in test orders, which cannot be resolved without direct customer contact.
Skills:
3,000 keystrokes per hour. Broad knowledge of specimen requirements for medical laboratory tests and requirements. Demonstrated problem solving ability and leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skill necessary to effectively interact with all Quest Diagnostics personnel and customers. Ability to work under stressful situations. Ability to work independently. Ability to deal with confidential information in a discreet manner.
Education: BS in Life Science
